Is the original Wattpad edition of RIVALS similar to the published print edition of The Upside of Falling? I'm reading the Wattpad edition now, and am considering if it's worth reading the print book? Are they pretty similar or different? If different, what is different?
Alex Light Hi! The books are totally different. They have the same basic plot and characters but everything else is changed! I like to think of them as two different books.

I loved the style of Upside of Falling! It was a breath of fresh air to read a YA with teenagers who face real problems but are kind, supportive, and communicative and don't fall into tired tropes (scheming, bullying, secrecy, mean teenagers, douchy jocks, etc.). The books and sweets in a small town setting was super cozy and the humor had me laughing all along. Will you continue writing books of this style?

Heya! When I saw that you wrote on Episode, I was like OML me too! Barely anybody knows about it! Two questions: 1.) Where did you get the idea for The Upside of Falling? Alex Light Hi! I got the idea for TUOF from a dream I had back in 2016 (when I originally wrote the first draft!) that was essentially me finding a fake date for a family member's wedding.

And I started writing on Episode in 2016! Just published my first story and it kinda blew up. That's about it ! :)
