I just keep trying to put some - any - words down. Sometimes there's a different scene that can be fitted in later. If that doesn't work, I do something different, or write something different, and let it ferment in the back of my brain.

I am working on a follow up book to Death in Focus. It's still quite embryonic, but I have a case outline and the first few chapters written.

I wrote fanfiction for the cop show Castle for some years. That helped me develop and plot out original cases and an original character. With that, and drawing on my own background in both finance and science, I developed the idea of the case and the team, which eventually became Death in Focus.
