I really love the Space Janitor series, especially the relationship of Triana and Kara. Have you written - or plan to write - about how they met, besides what is in The Vacuum of Space?

Julia Huni I’ve got a couple of short stories (A Mess of Gravity and Christmas on Kaku) that both take place while they’re at the Techno-Inst. You can get those by signing up for my newsletter on my website juliahuni.com
I never really know what I’m going to write until I sit down to do it, so I may end up back on Kaku at some point!

Romantic comedy? Will it be in the sci-fi & fantasy genre? Adult or YA?

Julia Huni No sci-fi in my new romcom—that’s why it will be published under a pen name. It won’t be a secret name, though. I’ll share it with my sci fi readers once the series is established.

It’s for adults, but “clean”.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Julia Huni Finish something. A book, a short story—it doesn’t matter, but make sure you get to the end of it. You learn to write by writing, and you need to practice wrapping it up satisfactorily.

What are you currently working on?

Julia Huni I’m working on three different books right now. I’m currently writing the newest book in my Space Janitor series. I’m also working on a Kindle Vella story. And I’m editing a romantic comedy that will be published under a pen name.
