If it's historical fiction I'm working on, I like to take a timeout and learn more about a person or place relating to that time frame. Sometimes this can change the entire direction of the story.

I am working on a historical fiction trilogy in various states of completion "The Broken Path", "The Tie That Binds" and "Unbroken". In addition to this I am writing a mystery/suspense, "Don't Wait For Me", I hope to complete and release after the release of the first or second book of the trilogy, depending on how those progress.

Reading books as a child. I was the only one in my family who enjoyed reading books. I loved the places books could take me, the characters I could meet, entire worlds I could experience. I wanted to create those myself. The first time I did, I was hooked.
