I have a trilogy in the works that I'm very excited about --I actually started writing these innovative fiction books about five years ago, but I decided to prioritize "Wildfire Weeds" because of the wildfire current events happening each year.

I'm always inspired to write. I have ideas pop up all day long every day, and my life is a compilation of little notes with writing prompts, character insights, dialogue topics, and themes to include. When I don't have the time to sit down for a larger session, I will hand write out a postcard to a dear friend; for the last dozen years I have been an avid letter writer, sending my missives out as brief literary affairs.

My neighborhood was destroyed in October 2017 by a mega firestorm. I fled my home at 1 in the morning with only the clothes on my back. I knew that I wanted to create a fiction novel about the looming threat of California wildfires after that experience.
