Cate C. Wells I'm so happy that you loved it! Abertha will get a story, but it'll probably be at the very end of the series. I'm keeping mum about the details (because I don't know them yet, lol). The human hunters were dealt a blow in Lone Wolf, but have yet to be dealt with completely. That'll come in a future book. I do have a story in mind for Kennedy and Tye. HUGE Five Packs fan over here, and while I totally agree with all the people who want to see that Kennedy and Tye story, may I also just put in an enthusiastic request to see Bevan’s?? His partner could be pretty much anyone, and I’d be into it; I’m just a fiend for this silly man. I know you are constantly working on cooking out the hits here, but just wanted to speak up for my boy. <3

I just gobbled up the Five Packs series in like 4 days, and it's just occured to me that if I read so fast, I'll run out of things to read! I don't know what you put in your books, but keep going because they're just so good! Which couple do you think you'll write about next in the series?? I'm really excited for whatever you come out with!

Any update about Hitting a Wall getting an audiobook? I know Against has one, and I see from your list on Audible that several of your other books have one "coming soon." But the Stonecut boys have a soft spot in my heart, I really want to be able to listen to Kellum's story. Sometimes, you just need to give your eyes a break!

Cate C. Wells I have good news on that front! The audiobook is finished and in my grubby paws. All I'm waiting for is the cover from the designer, and then I'll upload. (It usually takes about 10 days after that point.) Send good vibes. :)

Hey Cate, I have recently discovered your books & I have been devouring them as fast as I can download the next one. I just finished the MC series and was wondering if Harper will get her own book? I love the storyline that you have given us regarding Harper and would love to read about her happily ever after.

Hi Cate! I just read The Wild Wolf’s Rejected Mate and it might be my favourite. Now I’m dying for my next hit and wondering what’s next in your writing queue, if you don’t mid sharing ? P.S. I love your psychotic villains-as-heroes so I can't wait for Lucca and Leith's books, but also Drona's story! <3 Thank you!

Cate C. Wells I am so stoked that you liked it! I just finished writing a *secret group project* that we'll be announcing next month (although it won't release for a while). I'm not exactly sure what I'm going to write next. I usually start the story speaking stongest and see if I get traction. Cate C. Wells I do want to write a story for Brice (and the Sunshiner), but I'm not quite sure how it unfolds quite yet. They're both reserved, and that's always the trickiest relationship to write. You need a real firecracker of an inciting incident to set things off.

Cate C. Wells Oh, thank you! I actually have a novella, Made Man, coming out December 5th in the anthology Sin & Snowflakes. It's available for pre-order now. (It's the story of Dario and Posy's daughter, Mira.)

I have one more book planned for the series---Lucca, Tomas, and Sara's story. Not sure when I'll write it, but the story is there, waiting. :)

Hi Cate, I love your books. May I ask what your writing process is? Do you outline? How do you edit? More so, what was your process when plotting and writing The Tyrant Alpha's rejected mate? It's my favorite of yours! (and one of my all-time favorites, such an amazing job you did there!)

Cate C. Wells I'm so stoked that you're loving the books! I do lightly plot the beats/scenes of the story, but then I'm always changing things as I learn the characters and their backstories. In Tyrant Alpha, I had NO IDEA about what happened when they were children until it kind of came to me as I was writing. That was magic, and it doesn't happen a lot. (I wish it did.) I have a writing coach who I work with every month, and we go back and forth on a chapter, honing my skills. When the book is finished, it goes to my coach, my editor, and beta readers, and then I polish it like a diamond until I can't stand it anymore, and then it goes to my proofreader(s). I'm really lucky to have a team of reliable, skilled editors. I'm blessed. :)

I just finished Twitch two days ago, and have reread it twice since then. What a unique setting and subject for a romance! And you handled it so beautifully. I've never cried during a sex scene before. My question is: what sources did you use to research the experience and feelings of an Army nurse during the Vietnam War?

Cate C. Wells I'm so stoked that you loved Twitch. It has a very special place in my heart. I first learned about the Vietnam War from a woman's perspective in a novel called Flower Shadows by Terry Farish that I came across when I was young. The book was actually about a "Doughnut Dolly," but the place and time stuck with me for decades. When I got the idea for Twitch, I actually watched a lot of the videos of women telling their stories at the Vietnam Women's Memorial in Washington, DC. On Memorial and Veterans Day each year, women gather and share their memories. There is an archive on their website at vietnamwomensmemorial.org. Click on "Our Stories" to watch and have tissues at hand.

I just finished The Tyrant Alphas Rejected Mate; I have to know if Kennedy is going to be getting a story soon! I would love to know how she got the wolf she did and why the people that preferred the old pack are so hateful towards something she has no control over. Do you have a timeline set for this book or is it not going to happen?

I think you said somewhere that the least liked character by your fans was Zita from Nicky. I was so surprised because she is absolutely my favorite FMC of yours. I understood Zita's struggles 100%. How were you able to write Zita's personal struggles so well, esp with food? Did you research EDs? Your insights were spot on (my fave: a young girl is taught food=love but as she grows she is taught that food=enemy).
