I've just updated my website with more information on This Gilded Abyss and its sequels! Long story short, TCR won't be released until Fall 2026. There's exciting things ahead for the series, but it's going to be a slow process. :(

Haha! This series is a trilogy, so yes, there's more! Book 2 is called This Crimson Ruin, and it's finished. :) However, I'm still editing it, and we'll be announcing something very exciting for the series soon. Stay tuned!!

Haha yes! The story of how they meet is called Meet and Greet, and it's actually included in the back of all paperback copies of Treason's re-release. (The one with the updated font on the cover, that came out in May!)

I know, omg, I felt so bad writing it. LOL. The middle book of the trilogy, This Crimson Ruin, is FINISHED! I'm editing it now, and will have some news to share likely in the new year. :D Thank you so much for your patience!!

Haha! i love this!! Glad you got a copy, and I'm even more excited you enjoyed the dedication! The next book won't have even more lesbians, although all of our old favorites show back up for a certain couple's wedding. ;) It also features ace/aro rep! So it'll keep building on our lovely rainbow. :D

AHH YAY!!! I'm excited to say that the audiobook is being recorded now, and will likely be released in November 2023. It will be voiced by the incredible Natalie Naudus, so that should be a gorgeous interlude until the sequel. My current writing schedule is to tackle Tomes & Tea 4 in November, and work on This Gilded Abyss 2 and 3 early next year. I'm still muddling through the publication dates of those sequels, but I promise they're right up there on my list once I meet my publisher's deadlines for the cozy fantasies. :D

Hello! The Tomes & Tea quartet (including A Pirate's Life for Tea) was sold to Bramble, an imprint of Tor, for a reprint next year. Unfortunately, the physical paperbacks are out of print until then. You may be able to find a lingering copy if you check a few local bookstores. (I just signed books a month ago at the Barnes & Noble SouthCenter in Seattle, so they may still have a few!) Otherwise, ebay might be your best bet. Pirates won't be reprinted until likely late summer, early fall 2024, so I'm super sorry for the inconvenience!

The Tomes & Tea series will be a quartet! I actually just finished book 3 last night, but since it's been purchased by Tor, we won't see that book published for another year at least.
The good news is, they are planning a rapid release by traditional publishing standards! I think they're only planning to wait 3 - 5 months between each book, which is exciting. :) First one publishes on May 7th, 2024, and the others will follow pretty fast!
