Hi! So, I have written a number of short stories and you may have picked up one or a few of them. My full-length novels, however, are *very* long compared to the industry standard.
Full-length novels are between 40K and 100K. My novels are typically 110-125K words long, long enough that they could be a novel and novella combined!
The reason why they *feel* short is due to my writing style, which is brisk with an economy of words, and my plotting style which is complex, so I'm continually driving a multitude of plot threads and conflicts at once. Readers tend to read my books faster because of how I write them and therefore finish them sooner. This can make it seem like the story was shorter than it actually is!
So, all that said, I really can't write my books longer because the cost would increase to cover the number of pages that need to be printed. Sometimes, this leads the publisher to make the letters smaller to take up less pages and keep the cost down which can make the book hard to read.
BUT... I'm thrilled you love my work and want to read more of it! And that you enjoy the characters and want to spend more time with them. It's a huge compliment and I'm grateful for it!

Hi! I suggest Butterfly in Frost, which will give you some updates on the Crossfire crew several years after the end of One with You. And you'll definitely want to reserve a copy of Ireland, Gideon's sister's story! She's all grown up now, tangled with a dangerously seductive Cajun, and Gideon and Eva are full secondary characters. Once you've done that, you could pick up Afterburn / Aftershock and watch the movie based on it. Hopefully, you find these suggestions helpful! I hope you enjoy. Happy reading!

Hi! I'm so happy you're enjoying the Crossfire Saga!
I write about strong, ambitious, fiery women, so Gia and Eva would be great friends! Jax is a different animal from Gideon, though. Both men love fiercely and are protective, but how they handle that is very different. Jax is my biggest jerk of a hero, but he pulls it together in the end!
(And keep an eye out for Ireland, Gideon's sister's story, which is coming up next!)

Bad Boys Ahoy! had a title change and is now called Scandalous Liaisons, so when you look for the ebook, look for the right title and you'll find it!

The characters tell me their stories, and I try to type fast enough to keep up with them!

This answer contains spoilers…
(view spoiler)[Gideon specified in the prenup (in Entwined with You) that they agree to counseling and mediation in the event of a divorce, and he included (unnecessary) payments to Eva for continuing therapy. It's been his intention from the beginning to work hard to make her happy, and he's a man who always follows through! (hide spoiler)]

Unfortunately, this will never be possible. The first four books are published by a different publisher than the fifth book, so they include only their four books in the set.

Gideon has an off-page cameo in Blood and Roses 🥀, and Eva cameos in Butterfly in Frost 🦋 and there are some updates on the other Crossfire characters. You’ll also see cameos of Gideon and Eva in So Close 🐍.

Crossfire is under option for television development (for the third time!), so yes, it’s a possibility! Let’s hope the third time is the charm and we actually get to watch an adaption of Gideon & Eva’s love story in the comforts of home, curled up on the couch with our favorite drinks and snacks!

I'm not presently writing another Crossfire book because I'm in the middle of the Blacklist series. At some point after I'm done with Too Far--I'm not sure when--I may be writing another Crossfire book. I had no expectations of ever revisiting Eva and Gideon as primary characters, but something's come up in their lives, and since they're sharing it with me, I know I have to share it with you.

LOL I've been on a healing journey, giving myself grace, recharging after the tornado that was Crossfire, waiting for my characters to start talking to me again, spending time with my family during the crazy pandemic years when their lives were put on hold, weathering health crises with family members, and otherwise recentering myself.
So Close is done and with the publisher, and we're expecting to announce pre-orders really soon. Now I'm writing TOO FAR, which will release just months after So Close. So life is on the move again and I'm ready for it!
