I’ve just finished THE PENITENT PRIEST. With one glaring exception, I am impressed at the accuracy of details relating to ecclesiastical and ceremonial matters. That kind of accuracy is rare. Thank you for reading The Penitent Priest. As practicing Catholics ourselves, we've tried to be as accurate as possible. We've done research in both books and on the Internet (using only resources we're confident are faithful to Church teaching). For some questions, we've reached out to a canon lawyer associated with Catholic University of America. We realize that we may have gotten some things wrong; that's entirely our fault.
