That's a good question but also a difficult one. You could try to run an Facebook advertisement to the French audience, or you could try to reach French Booktokers on TikTok if you have an account there. I don't have translations (yet) so I suppose I'm not the right person to ask! Wishing you lots of luck.

Oh, that's an intriguing question. Probably that my great-grandparents, who were forbidden to marry each other due to class differences, still tied the knot after being kept apart for 11 years, while their son (my grandfather) had been raised as his mother's brother by my great-great grandparents.

I love Paris, where I was born, so I wanted the book to be - mostly situated there - but I also wanted to describe the dilemma of the medical profession in a war. Is it allowed for a doctor to have a soldier's heart, that is to kill the enemy when your actual job is to keep everyone alive?

It depends. Sometimes I let a story gist for a while and don't force myself to write every day although I feel I have to. Other times I set a timer and just write. Just as every day is different in my writer's life, being able to write also fluctuates but I always return to the page.
