You’re right, in the original the lockdown happens at the school. But I changed it because it doesn’t make sense for the bad guys to willing put themselves in a position where they couldn’t escape. The school locks down too quickly and tightly for them to ever have a good exit route. So I rewrote it for the museum for the published version.

Honestly, I don't face writer's block. I tend to write two books at once which means if I hit something with one novel I can simply jump to the other. By the time I'm done writing a chapter the problem I hit with the first story has been figured out.
