Patti Gaustad Procopi Well luckily I don't really have any mysteries or unanswered questions in my life! Ha ! My life is an open book. But I do use incidents from my life in my books but I twist and tweak them a bit. I refer to my work as biographical fiction. Often an incident from my past gives rise to an idea. Patti Gaustad Procopi My life experiences and my family supplies with ideas. Though I want to be clear that I’m not writing a memoir. I take real events and twist and tweak them. I’m looking for the core emotions.
