The entire main plot (the whole three volumes) is strongly inspired in shonen genre like One Piece, Hunter X Hunter and Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Yet, what inspired me most at the worldbuilding is the Golden Sun game series.

I'm not much of a reader, but I compensate it with extracting all kinds of stories from every source possible. Music (how it's composed tells you what the musician was inspired for), videogames (the ones that are very well designed story-wise), anime/manga (also the ones that click inside me).

Before writing you have to get inspiration on what to write about. When you decide what to write you decide the plot. It's easier to design the end first and build the story to meet that ending.
