M.R. Gorga My own terrifying experiences with dark forces and demonic happenings inspired me to write Demons Among Us. But the entire book crystallized when I discovered a little known story about a demon-possessed girl while researching three-hundred and fifty-year-old records, journals and sermons about witchcraft in the 17th century, most all handwritten on fragile yellowed parchment with flowing black script.
M.R. Gorga I get inspired by reading other books, mostly. These usually spark ideas or some kind of inspiration. I always have a pen nearby just in case something mysteriously speaks from the mists of creativity.

M.R. Gorga I'm currently working on a new paranormal horror fiction novel that takes place in the 1650s. I can't give away all the details but it will be shockingly horrific!
M.R. Gorga The best thing about being a writer is that I get to create worlds and people and scenarios. Bringing things to life that never existed before is a real thrill. Another thing is the amazing things I learn along the way through research. The deeper I dive the more I learn!

M.R. Gorga Write. Read. And keep writing. Push through the doubt and fear (which is normal) and you will create a work to call your own.
M.R. Gorga I've never had writer's block. But I have been unmotivated at times. To deal with that, I just sit down and write anyway, even if I don't feel like it; and something always happens on the page--without fail!
