I am currently working on a novel tenatively called After You which tackles the subject of self-determination when terminally ill.
The book follows Rose and Christopher who suddenly have their lives upturned when Rose receives a stage four cancer diagnosis. Rose, wanting to protect their two young daughters wants the right to die on her terms but for Christopher it goes against everything he morally believes.
This book no doubt is a sad book but it is one that I hope will encourage conversation amoungst its readers.
