Rita A. Gordon The best advice I can give to aspiring writers is to write. Whatever ideas you have in your head, sit down, grab a pen, pencil, or electronic device and write. Don't let anything or anyone stop you from telling your story the way you want to tell the story. And don't buy into all the online narratives about how to tell your story. Only you know how to tell your story. Your voice and your ideas make you unique.

Rita A. Gordon I'm currently editing my first novel. The idea is a mashup of two passions of mine layered over a love story.
Rita A. Gordon That's an interesting question. I think mine would be a funny mystery. I lost a sock while traveling to India one time. I can write a whole mystery about the circumstances around that situation. LOL
Rita A. Gordon I step away from the writing and do other things. I listen to songs on the music playlist I created for the book I’m writing, which helps me get back in the mood.
Rita A. Gordon I am currently editing my first novel. And I am working on drawings for my third floral coloring book and designing my third journal book.
