Shiny Marbles, my most recent book came from having a traumatic experience, and having been at an inpatient behavioral health hospital. I asked my Psychiatrist if he saw common threads or a connected truths in his patients' delusions. He said it was more like a flavor to the delusions, but I wondered what would happen if there was a truth or deeper connection that those who were ill could see, but those who were well could not. Things developed from there.
