Emily R. McCormick I have discovered how to write a book. Watch out!
Emily R. McCormick My favorite kind of book to write.... that's a tough one because I haven't explored many genres yet. Holy Bliss is Christian-Fantasy-Fiction and the new series I am working on is Christian-Dystopian, but beyond that I want to explore Science Fiction. I would have to say that my favorite kind of book to write would be a balanced mix, depending on the day.
Emily R. McCormick I get inspired to write usually by other authors since I am an avid reader. Their works of art broaden my imagination's horizons and give me new ideas or make me look at old one's differently. Sometimes I get inspired by movies though. I also get inspired my music. Stories inspire stories. And sometimes, on special occasions, God inspires me when I am out in the woods thinking.
Emily R. McCormick Oooooh, okay this is a hard one. So I am going to cheat and give more than one answer in no particular order.

1. The Maze Runner: 70% for the characters and 30% for the world. Although, I must say that getting the flare would probably suck. I would really just love to live that story in the original way that it was told.

2. The Mortal Instruments/The Dark Artifacts: I would love to get to train as a Shadowhunter and get to know the characters, particularly Clary and Emma. Although, I think a triple date would be fun so I would have to find a good shadowhunter guy!

3. The Perfect Blindside: I love how grounded this story is and if I met Jake and Sophie, I feel like Sophie and I would get up to some trouble and try and play a lot of jokes and tricks on Jake. I also feel like I would be close to Jake though so maybe more of a go-between. Kinda like the awesome sibling they both totally need!
Emily R. McCormick Usually I just stop whatever I am doing, clearing your writers block involves clearing your mind, and I either go for a walk, sit under my spruce tree, or just sit on my bed. I let my mind wander. Then, I put my headphones on and let the music guide me. Sometimes, I have to read a book as well. But I can always count on those two things along with the power of prayer to clear my writers block.
Emily R. McCormick The sequal to my book Holy Bliss! It will be called Radiant Bliss.
