As a matter of fact; I wouldn't do that, because my writing and my thoughts have a special kind of connections that is related to the nature that I am currently living in the mind reading world, or the world of my dreams and imaginations. This world is explained in my book "The Poetic Pacific" and if you want to know more about that world, you should read my book.
Going back to the question; I wouldn't write a two sentence horror story, because one aspect of that world is that; whatever thoughts, ideas or dreams I have; can translate into reality. That means that, if I write a horror sentence, it would become real. So I wouldn't write about something that would trigger something horror to happen.

I would prefer to read books that are related to my works. This is because the background idea of my writing is relatively new, especially I am introducing a new kind of world, which is the world of our dreams and imaginations. So you would see books that are related to this areas on my shelves.

The source of inspiration or ideas for my book was taken mainly from a special kind of experience I had, and I write my poems to describe them, which I recollected in moments of tranquility. There are several places, locations, or people with whom I had these experiences, and which are mentioned in my book.
But those special experiences I was having was not like a direct approach, where I would physically approach them and tell them that; I am writing a book and they should provide some information or ideas, but rather I was doing it, whilst being elevated from an ordinary state of mind to a higher state of mind where I can read their mind and where they can also read my mind. That higher state of mind is like a mind-reading world, where one’s thoughts, ideas, or dreams can be read and understood by another person, without them telling you directly by words.
So the main source of information or ideas in my book is people, places, and things in this mind-reading world. I give this name ‘Mind Reading World” to define and describe this newfound world, where I was being introduced to and where people live by reading other people’s minds. It is a rather strange, powerful, secretive, and mysterious world and it is explained in my book.

This is a tough question and comes with a tough answer as well! We write to translate the thoughts, ideas, and dreams from the threshold of our imaginations, They are not just physical objects that you can easily move them, but they are abstract which involves certain amount of mental process to takes place,
Therefore, when you are faced with such situation as a writer, you have to take great care of the host of your thoughts, ideas and dreams which is your mind. Take as much time as possible to refresh your mind, or take some time off etc. The more you care about it, the more it gives back!
