Mark Allen Moore I'm situationally inspired. I think that's a politically correct way of saying that I'm moody. In other words, when the mood hits, I write. Consequently, I have notes everywhere. I might be in the car driving when the mood hits and I have an inspiration, so I wait until I have a place to stop and jot down a few notes. Also, when I have spare time, I just write...on any subject that's on my mind. Eventually, my brain kicks in and brings me back to what I'm actually writing about.
Mark Allen Moore In 2020, we tragically lost our daughter in an ATV accident. As we were working through our grief and trying to make sense of the world, God began to speak to me about disappointment, which is the root of our grief. I'm an internal processor who journals. I began "leaking" some of my journal writings on social media and I was overwhelmed by the response. Many people asked if I was going to write a book, and that's how "Shattered" was born.
Mark Allen Moore I'm working on my second book in the series called Hope and Purpose. I'm hoping to talk about how to deal with opposition and adversity.
Mark Allen Moore I try to write something everyday...even if it's not related to the material I'm currently working on. I find that when I start writing, my thoughts start flowing. Conversely, if I just sit around waiting for something to come, it's rare that anything happens. It's like a boat tied up to the pier. As long as it's not moving, it will go nowhere.
