Oh, thank you so much, Felicia! I really appreciate that. I've always been fascinated with the concept of parallel universes, and the theory that every choice and life circumstance might spin off a new version! Then when I made the big choice to emigrate, that idea resonated with me even more, as I imagined a world where I hadn't. I started exploring these thoughts and one particular, romance-based idea hit me so I went with it and it became my debut! I've also been inspired by other writers like Kate Atkinson and Matt Haig who have written on these themes. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for asking! I'm sooo happy you loved it! We've only just revealed the cover, so there is a page here right now, but we need to add the cover image https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
However, the Goodreads pixies have attributed it to the wrong author page (there's another CJ Connolly, a children's author!) so we're just getting that fixed - hopefully they're working on it and will be on my page soon!

I've recently submitted my third multiverse romance to my publisher and it's being edited right now! It is called The Love I Never Knew and it will come out in June 2024 (writing this in Jan 2024). It's not a sequel to either of my first two books, The Love of My Other Life and The Love I Could Have Had, but has a similar alternate-reality theme. Only this time in a more extreme way! I've put any new writing on hold while we finalize that manuscript, but I'm considering tackling a winter festive holiday novel next - we'll see!

From all kinds of things - travelling, neighbourhoods I love, people I meet, TV shows I'm watching, other books, stories that happen to other people - and most of all, my own life and the choices I've made.

I'm actually a huge fan of sci-fi TV shows and multiverse theories, and I'd been binge-watching the TV show Fringe, which has parallel universes. My debut novel, The Love of My Other Life, was dreamed up one lazy Saturday morning around that time. I live alone, but woke up with a weird sense that someone was in bed next to me. I chuckled as I imagined how bizarre it would be if someone was actually there, and got up to say "Morning, honey, want a coffee?" and I'd slipped into another version of my life. I ended up mentally running with the idea and figured out the whole story from start to finish in those few hours! I hadn't even intended to write a novel, as I have a busy day-job career, but I thought it was such a fun idea for a book that I plotted the whole thing - and then found myself writing it. It just poured out! Didn't even know I had that in me.

My problem isn't writer's block (not yet anyways - I'm a newbie!) - my problem is finding the time to write all the books in my head while a) juggling a day-job career I love and b) doing all the editing and promoting work for my current books!

Ooh so many, I won't include all author names: The Paper Palace, The Last Thing He Told Me, Lucky, The Club, The Book of Lost and Found, This Time Tomorrow, The Two Lives of Lydia Bird, Woman on Fire, Meet Me in Bombay, and more!

The fact that I have a huge distant family in Ireland and I've never met any of them!
