Lian Dolan Hi Candice-- I wasn't thinking of The Sweeney Sisters as the beginning of a series. But I've had so many questions about a sequel, I'm starting to put some notes together. So stay tuned! thanks for your question, Lian

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Lian Dolan Take a class. Force yourself to commit to the process. Thinking about writing is not the same as writing. Plunking down money, having deadlines and getting critical feedback on your work is the way to get that first draft done. Check your ego at the door and get writing.

What are you currently working on?

Lian Dolan I am currently working on another novel. I can tell you this: it's set in Paris and there is Art. So I'd love to hear from readers who've discovered any galleries or masterpieces or secret troves of undiscovered delight in Paris.
