Sometimes I overhear a word or phrase or sentence that captivates me, or see something on the news or read a news story that makes a fictional story form in my mind. For nonfiction, I usually pursue topics for essays or articles that I just can't stop thinking about. Sometimes I'm inspired by going about my life, such as seeing a sticker company selling stickers at a conference and going on to research the sticker world for two years before writing a Glamour article on them.

I edit erotica anthologies that are published in print, ebook and audiobook. I've contributed my own stories to many of my anthologies, yes, as well as to those edited by other editors. My anthologies feature a mix of writers, usually from around the world.
