A.J. McCarthy Hello David,

I wish I could give an awe-inspiring answer, but in all honesty, I never thought of myself as a writer until I finished reading a particularly bad book. (In those days, I forced myself to continue even though I didn't like it. Now, I realize life is too short for that. ) I said to myself, 'I could do better than that.' Then I thought, 'Hmmm. I wonder if I could.' I grabbed my laptop and started to write, and I haven't stopped writing since that time because I love it so much.
A.J. McCarthy Hello, Nancy. Thank you very much for the wonderful review. I appreciate the time you took to read and review my novel. I certainly am still writing. I really enjoy it and I have another one in the works, but it is far from finished.
Thank you once again and take care.
A.J. McCarthy That would be great! Send me your address and I will get it in the mail. Thank you, Nancy.
A.J. McCarthy Yes, Nancy, I am. If you are interested, I would appreciate it. Just let me know if you would like a pdf copy or a paperback. Thank you.
A.J. McCarthy While I was playing around on my Ipad, a name of a game popped up, and it gave me a great idea.
A.J. McCarthy My fifth novel. I'm about 12,000 words into it. At the same time, I am editing another novel for submission.
A.J. McCarthy Read, read, and read some more. The more you read the more you will know what you like and what works well. Also, don't give up. I know that is a common piece of advice, but it's repeated often because it's true.
A.J. McCarthy It's a chance to live a fantasy life of your own making.
A.J. McCarthy The only way I have to deal with it is to move on to something else for a while. I work on another project, or I grab a book to read. Then when I come back to my current writing project I am usually able to carry on.
