I am writing the next in the series. It is based around Eleanor's younger sister, Jasmine and is flavoured by Jane Austen's Persuasion. Eventually, each of Eleanor's sisters will have their own story.

I came across the fact that in the UK today (more than two hundred years after Jane Austen's death), the class someone is born into is still the greatest determinator of their life. It beats disability, race or gender. So I set out to write a light, bright book influenced by Austen that looked at class.
