Eliza, I just finished listening to The Mayfair Bookshop and was delighted to discover that Nancy and her family were, in fact, real people. Like you, I've always loved to read. When I was growing up, my paternal grandmother worked in a bookshop that reminds me of the shop in your own story. Are the bookshop and Sophie real, too?
Eliza Knight Hi Laura! I'm so glad you enjoyed the book! The bookshop IS real and you can visit it in London to this day. Sophie is a made up character :) Thank you so much for reading!

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Eliza Knight Ohhhh! Good question! I think I'd travel to the Regency era of London and take Mr. Darcy aside and school him on a proper proposal.

Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
Eliza Knight I approached the room cautiously, remnants of a struggle visible in the tattered strips of paper strewn on the floor. But that was nothing compared to the carnage inside the library--every single book had been destroyed.

Eliza Knight Hi Michelle! Thank you so much, I'm thrilled to hear you love the series. I apologize for the *very* long delay in answering this question! I've just discovered the Q&A on here (sigh). There are 7 books in the series available :)

Are all your books available in book form, or are some of them just ebooks?
Eliza Knight Hi Pat! My apologies for the extreme delay in this reply, but I've only just discovered this question and answer section! My books are all available in ebook, print and the majority are also in audio :)

What is next after Highlanders Surrender?
Eliza Knight I apologize for the delay in answering! I only just discovered this question :)

I've had a couple more series release since Highlander's Surrender -- Prince Charlie's Angels and Scots of Honor. I also released The Highlander's Dare, which is sort of a prequel to the Stolen Brides.

I've got several more Stolen Bride/Conquered Bride books percolating as well.

In your book Guarded by the Warrior you wrote that Ina Ross was killed by lady Emilia. And in the book The Highlander's Hellion Ina Ross is still alive. I don't understand that, is there some mistake?

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Eliza Knight Highlander Undone is the 5th book in the Highland Bound series. This series has been as much a surprise to me as to the readers! The characters come to me, and they demand I sit at the keyboard. As I write specific scenes, there had been some surprises to me, too! I'd say most of my ideas come from characters. My books are character driven. But, I love to throw in a few unexpected twists and turns. I want my books to be adventures!

How do you get inspired to write?
Eliza Knight I love to listen to period music, watch scenery videos on YouTube, and read my research books!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Eliza Knight Never give up! This job is the best job I've ever had, but it is also the hardest! It takes perseverance, patience and drive to see it done.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Eliza Knight I have to push through it. We all have slump days where we'd rather lay in our pi's and watch tv, never moving from the couch. But, if I don't put words on the page, I won't finish the book. And let's face it, even though its a thrilling and fun job, I still have to do the work no matter what so it gets done. I can a bad day of writing. I can't fix a blank page.

What are you currently working on?
Eliza Knight I'm currently working on the third book in my Conquered Bride series! So exciting! *Rubs hands together*

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Eliza Knight I don't think there is just one thing! I love that I get to spend the day thinking up new characters, plot lines, researching. I spend my day inside books, creating worlds and living in them. It's amazing!
