Hi, Renee! Thank you so much for being a new fan! I'm so happy you've joined the HOT crew and love the guys as much as I do. Welcome, Hottie! As for the audio, YES, we are working on it!! Aidan is my #1 choice for narrator, so it's slow going because he can't do them all at once, LOL. But he's just finished HOT PROTECTOR, which should hit the store in the next couple of weeks or so. He's scheduled to do the next two this summer -- and I personally cannot wait for him to read Mendez's book!!

You have to stop paying attention to all that stuff. Seriously. Tune it out, turn it off, ignore it. Write and keep writing. When something doesn't work, write something else. That's not a glib answer. It's the truth. Because when you get published finally, guess what? Somebody will hate your book and come to this place right here to proclaim all the reasons they disliked it. And you can't read that stuff because it will mess with your head. STOP paying attention to the noise and do your thing.

Fingers crossed it happens soon! My designer is working on it right now and we're supposed to see preliminary designs this week. The goal is to have it done by the time HOT PROTECTOR launches in January, but what I've learned with web design is that it always takes longer than I think it will. Still, I am hopeful!!

I don't really get writer's block these days, but that's because I have deadlines and I have to get the work done. I think writer's block is quite often procrastination in action. Ask yourself why you're procrastinating. Maybe you don't know where the book should go, or maybe you went in the wrong direction and you know it deep inside. Listen to that inner voice. Sometimes it knows far more than we do. I've learned to listen to it far sooner now that I have to meet deadlines!

Read a lot and write a lot. Don't expect perfection when you first start, and be willing to change your story if it's not working. It takes a lot of practice to get good at writing, just like it takes a lot of practice to get good at playing the piano. Keep writing and don't give up.

I'm working on HOT ICE, the 7th book in the HOT series, and it just kind of grew organically from the series itself. This book is about Garrett "Iceman" Spencer.
