Some days, admittedly, you won't feel too inspired. What differentiates a writer from a non-writer -- the writer writes anyway. Inspired or not, the writer does the work. Word by word. Sentence by sentence. Until the job is done. So, I don't do anything to get inspired. The days I feel it strongly are great and flow wonderfully. The days I don't -- I sit down, stare at the screen, bang my head on my desk, and write anyway.

I'm writing The Way of the Power - Book 5 of The Malja Chronicles. I promised you all that if I wrote Books 4-6, I'd do it in two years. I don't want to George R. R. Martin you and take 20 years to get these things out. So, Book 5 is being written this summer, and the final book in the series, Book 6, will be written next year.
