I must admit that it is an absolutely brilliant feeling finishing the book and getting it published. I really don't know the clear answer to this one. I suppose I was inspired by a number of computer games with a lot of scifi books over the last 40 years thrown into the mix. Of course there is a solid dose of my own creative imagination that gets thrown into the pot!

I love finding out what's going to happen next in the story. It's exciting to be writing the story and reading it at the same time. I would often say to my wife that I'm about to find out what is going to happen to one of the characters this afternoon....I can't wait!

I love sitting down and listening to orchestral music from movie soundtracks. I have a playlist that seems to put me into the zone for writing....it also helps if you love it!

Just keep on writing! One of the things that I didn't do was join a great writing group....I really regret not doing this. To be quite honest with you I didn't even know that they existed. Since publishing Battleframe I've discovered a lot of authors that are incredibly helpful.

I'm currently working on book two of the Mindwars series. I think that in this book you will learn a lot more about what drives the characters and why they react they way they do.
