Weldon Burge I've always been a fan of police procedurals like those written by Ed McBain and similar books. It's all about the characters. My protagonist, Ezekiel Marrs, is a down-to-earth family man who is highly intuitive and a veteran police detective. The team of police officers surrounding him is also top of their game.
