I would go to Monroe, Connecticut, home of the Connecticut Kings football team. I would go to the Savage Beast for a blue cheese burger and hang out with the men from the team and their women. And if one was available, I might just make a connection!

One book from V. L. Locey and two from Kathleen Ball. Plus a Nero Wolfe mystery and a few more on my Kindle.

It's hard to give up my first fictional couple, Mac and Callie Caldwell. I think I came close to them in feeling when Griff Montgomery and Lauren came along in my First & Ten series. But each couple is so dear to me. If I don't fall in love with them, I can't write the story. So, perhaps, it's closer to the truth to say that the couple I'm currently writing is my favorite couple. Until the next book. Maybe that's a cop out, but I have to feel it to write it. Does that make sense?

I don't writer's block. If I hit a snag where the story isn't flowing, which usually happens in the middle of the book,I go for a walk with my pug or watch a movie or go out to lunch.Walking helps as I work out the book, plot points and character arcs. Then I come back refreshed and can usually go back to it with no problem.

I get to disappear into exciting stories that end happily every day. I love getting my characters in trouble, then bailing them out. It's an emotional roller coaster and it's fun and rewarding.

I'm currently working on two books, which I almost never do.One's a holiday book called Finding Love in Santa's Thrift Shop. And the other is the second in my football series, First & Ten. It's called Buddy Carruthers.

Each story, the characters. I have to feel something for the characters and then they inspire me to write.

It's hard to say where ideas come from. Since this is a sequel, I'd have to say the hero was in the first book and I thought it would be fun to give him his own girlfriend. We did and they took us on quite a ride!
