How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jennifer Conner I always try and think out the ending. I'm not a plotter, but I'm not a pantser, either. I think if you have the beginning and the ending, then you can figure out what's wrong with the story and work it out.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Jennifer Conner I got to quit my day job! I work harder and more hours now than I EVERY have, but the only crazy boss is me!

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Jennifer Conner Get in a productive writers group and critique group. You have to grow a tougher skin and have people tell you what needs to be improved and fixed in your book. I believe that many authors are skipping this step. You need to make sure that your story is the best that it can be before putting it out there.

Jennifer Conner I'm starting on a Valentine story.

How do you get inspired to write?
Jennifer Conner I have a story in my head that just need to get out.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jennifer Conner I ran a catering business with staff for over 15 years. All the CRAZY experiences we had, I wove them into a book. A groom with a gun under his tux, an employee that slipped and broke her arm during the cater, and we even worked for a MURDERER!
