I go swimming. Or if I can't get to a pool, I take a shower. There's something about moving, flowing water that soothes and relaxes--and stimulates my creative side. I've done some of my best dialogue while in a pool. Unfortunately, by the time I can get to a place where I can write it down, it just never sounds the same.

Aside from not having to get dressed up and commute to work? I'd say it's never, ever being bored. Your mind is always exploring everything around you. Everything you see or hear can trigger ideas for a story, a setting, a conflict, a character, dialogue, details of all sorts. It's an exciting way to live, always on the lookout for something new and intriguing and wonderful.
