Rocco DiSpirito From my personal life. I am always my first test subject and as my body responds to different things I try like high fat/low carb, low carb/low calorie, grain free, dairy free, I learn and my POV evolves. I also have a live group of clients who need daily adjustments in their caloric intake, macro nutrient breakdown, activity so i have a lot of data to work with. So based on the experience and results I observe both from myself and my clients I decided to try a plan that doesn't require calorie counting, only eating very specific foods, I like to refer to as negative calorie foods. There are so many of them I was able to create many new recipes from them and lifestyle plan that isn't limited so it never gets boring. You don't lose weight as fast as you would if you did my pound a day plan but its a permanently transformative process.
Rocco DiSpirito Food has always ignited something in me. Now that I know how to use food to heal, at a time when most of the USA is overweight, inspiration is everywere.
Rocco DiSpirito I am working on quite a few project. Obviously I am getting ready to launch The negative Calorie Diet 12/29 and I'm about to start my next book. Plus i cook, coach and care for 40 clients on my Poundadaydiet.com program.
Rocco DiSpirito Only write about things that you have a deep, personal connection to. That are authentic to you only. That you feel inside. And write how you would tell that story, don't use more words because you're typing not speaking.
Rocco DiSpirito If you're lucky enough to have an audience, its simply that. You can express your point of view and there are people out there who will think its valuable, be moved but it, transformed. Its an astonishing process.

There are few things more fulfilling to me than being approached by a complete stranger who says "I read your book and it changed my life, I lost 80 pounds, reversed my type 2 diabetes and cook for myself all the time now."
Rocco DiSpirito with food writers block is cured by going to the market and creating a new recipe. Its very different from writing fiction.
