I've "finished" my third novel, Sins of the Younger Sons, which I've described elsewhere on Goodreads, and a novella, "The Song Leader." (They're never finished until it's too late.) I think next -- after I slog through the income tax worksheet and receipts for our accountant -- is a reprise to the characters in my second novel, Comanche Sundown. Working title is The Last Christmas of Billy the Kid.

Except for occasional medical interluded, I haven't had one to deal with in forty years, as near as I recall. Which is not to say I don't throw a great deal out. Writing is what I do. Everything else I tried, I got fired.
