That's a tough question. In the mystery genre, I've always loved Nick and Nora Charles. I like their use of humor in their marriage and their acceptance of one another's foibles. When it comes to steamy hot romantic couples, I think Claire and Jamie from Outlander rank # 1.

Becoming a published author has made my life so much more fulfilling. It makes me smile to know that I've put a smile on many readers' faces. My goal is to entertain readers and give them a break from all of the negativity we see in the headlines. Great question. I would say that Laurel McKay and I have the same self-deprecating sense of humor. We are both klutzes although she isn't nearly as clumsy as I am (believe it or not)! Laurel continues to achieve personal growth throughout the series and has turned into a character I really enjoy hanging out with.

When I'm stuck I plot and plod, which means I walk in a circle around the house with my cat following me, hoping I'll have a brilliant idea so she can climb back on my lap. If I'm really desperate, I look at open houses. It always fuels my creativity!
