Currently, I'm working on a fantasy series about Heroism and Prejudice. I'm very excited to get it out into the world someday. It's been a baby of mine for many years.

The hardest thing about writing is actually DOING the writing. It's also the most fun. It doesn't matter if it makes sense, it doesn't matter if it's "good". It matters that you DID it. There have been so many people I've spoken with who have said, "I had an idea for a book once, but I never did it." and I always want to scream, "Then DO it!". Don't let others or yourself deter you. You'll always be your own worst critic. Find someone who can read your work and give you perspective and then WRITE.

I usually try to work with my hands on something. Manual labor gets the blood pumping which helps me think. Whenever I was on a mission for the Army, on an emergency call with EMS, or even something as simple as mowing the lawn. I've had a lot of ideas while mowing the lawn actually, maybe it's the smell of clean cut grass...
