Lydia Rodriguez-Clement Hello Goodreads! A two-sentence horror story? Wow! Let's see:

Abigail was a voracious reader, loving all manner of books, and spending many long hours at the library; books on hypnosis were her recent favorites. So, it was much to her horror seeing the library consumed by flames as she drove up the crowded parking lot full of onlookers, firefighters, and hearing the librarian yelling at the top of her lungs with tears streaming down her face, "That's her! She's the one I saw last night! She did it! "
Lydia Rodriguez-Clement Good Morning Tanya Marie! I would absolutely do an interview for your blog. You can email me your website so I can take a look. My email is lydiarclement@yahoo.com, and we can set this up however you wish. Thanks for the opportunity to do this.

Lydia Rodriguez-Clement For me, the best thing about being a writer is connecting with the readers. I love being able to meet new people through my book. I find that many readers have that ambition to one day write their own.
So, yes, connecting with people.
Lydia Rodriguez-Clement Wow, this is a tough question. First thing is, is that if you wake up wanting to write, and you make time to write with a busy life, and you have that drive to learn how to writer better? Then, you are a writer. Second: You have to have thick skin.
Traditional publishing is very difficult, but if that is what you want, then follow the steps to get there.
Indie publishing is even more difficult, but well worth it if you want to keep your copyrights for example.
You have to be willing to do the work, and not just writing the story. That means your PR; Facebook, fanpage, website, twitter, instagram, and yes, goodreads, book signing, bloggers. Learn how to polish up your writing. Ask other Authors questions, and read, read, read.
Remember also to take time to unwind, have fun with it, connect with readers. So, you might have to organize your time between work, writing, and family.....
Lydia Rodriguez-Clement Writer's block is really a sign that the writer needs to step back for a little while. So, I usually grab a book and start reading. Whether it is a new release or one that I have visited many times. It helps me relax, which then helps me to daydream. It is a way to reconnect with your creative juices and begin again.
Lydia Rodriguez-Clement Inspiration, sometimes, is hard to come by and sometimes it hits you on the head like a baseball.
When I need inspiration, it usually means that I need to put my work down and step back for awhile. This is great for Indie writers because we do not have a publisher or editor breathing down our neck with a deadline.
Most times, I watch movies, catch up with my shows, spend time with the family, and cleaning the house oddly enough helps me. Music also plays an important part for me. I love listening to all kinds of music while writing.
Lydia Rodriguez-Clement I am currently working on book II of THE GUARDIAN right now. I am having a little difficulty, however, in forming a new character I want to introduce. His background, looks, and personality are pretty much done, I just need to polish him up with weapons. It is kind of hard to do this, only because you don't want your character to mimic so many good ones out there. He deserves to be unique and fresh.
Lydia Rodriguez-Clement Well, amazingly enough, it came to me in a dream. At first I ignored it, but the same 'conversation' would come into my dream everynight. I would wake up tired as if I hadn't slept at all. So, I began to write the conversation down, and felt much better. I realized, as I wrote, that it was about an Angel. I began to research myths and beliefs about Angels, and the 'dream conversations' became more and more frequent. With all the research and the dreams, I thought, "This would make a great book."
