Liz Michalski Thank you! I think the original Peter Pan is beautiful, but dark and melancholy, and that there's a lot there that inspires the dark Peter Pan trend. (For a less dark but equally complicated read, check out Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson, one of my very favorite Peter Pan-inspired books.)

I just got a notification that you liked my review of your book and I ran into the living room screaming like a fan girl telling my hubby!! Can I tell you that Darling Girl was one of the best books I've read EVER! Most of my books I take and exchange for others to read but this one will forever be on my shelf to read over and over!! Thank you so much for your beautiful yet dark adaptation of Peter Pan. :?

I just finished your book, "Darling Girl", and I feel compelled to tell you that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED it!!! Thank you for writing such a dark, gritty fairytale retelling. It really kept me turning pages. I don't often call something "a perfect book", but your book?! It was perfect!!
