Why can't I find "End Times: They Walk in Darkness" anywhere? It's not at any of my local libraries, not on Hoopla. Is it available anywhere?
Toby Neighbors I changed the title. Same book, only now it is called End Times.

Toby Neighbors Sorry for the late reply. My books are exclusive to Amazon at the moment it I have several that will be added to all platforms soon.

Is GSG Vanhorn linked to SSG Vanhorn series? Another six books of Eli Vanhorn?
Toby Neighbors Yes, GSG is my abbreviation for Gunnery Sergeant. Van got a promotion, but it is a continuation of the SSG Vanhorn Series. Probably just a trilogy.

What's next up for all of your readers? I am enjoying the new Sy Fy adventure Spartan Company. Hope there is more to this story! If not I will be utterly disappointed. Can't end w/o answers to all the questions!!
Toby Neighbors Hi Edna, thanks for the question. I just finished up a little side project and I’m launching into the third Spartan Company book today. I’m not sure if Spartan Company will be a trilogy, or if I’ll write more books with Orry, Aurora, Gloria, and Money. I just have a rough outline in my head, so we’ll see where the writing takes me. My plan it to have it finished and published by Christmas (keep your fingers crossed).

I also have an idea for a new sci-fi series, so after this year I’ve got lots of great new adventures coming your way. I’ll do my best to tie up loose ends. Merry Christmas!

Toby Neighbors Hi Edna, thanks so much for writing. I’m so happy you like the ARC Angel books. I’ve really enjoyed writing them. At this point, I do plan on writing another book. The ideas are still floating around in my head and I’m hopeful that they will come together soon. I’m sorry to hear about your disability. It’s my great honor to bring a little joy and hope to people who read my stories. Thank you!

when will the rest off the five kingdoms come onto audiobooks??
Toby Neighbors Audio is an expensive and timely endeavor. As things stand now I don't have plans to produce those books in audio yet. Hopefully 2017 will be the year I get them done. I'll be sure to post any updates on my website and on my facebook page.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Toby Neighbors The inspiration for my Chaos Saga (The Five Kingdoms series starting with book 8) came about as I developed the concept of a bad guy who thinks he is doing good. I really wanted to explore the depths of his depravity, as well as his emotions.

How do you get inspired to write?
Toby Neighbors Nothing inspires me more than great storytelling. I go to the movies, read books, and watch television. When I'm writing I like to find an environment that is inspiring. I like to drive out to where there is a good view of the mountains, where it is quiet, and peaceful.

What are you currently working on?
Toby Neighbors I'm working on book 12 of my Five Kingdoms series, but I have a few other projects in the works. I'm planning to write the second book in my Marshyl series in November, and I'm also working on a secret project that I hope to have finished early next year.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Toby Neighbors The age old adage is true: Keep Writing! Aspiring writers need to write until they have something worth publishing. And once they have a completed work, they need to keep writing as they promote their writing and themselves (either to the world, or to agents/publishers).

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Toby Neighbors Getting to explore my ideas. It is the story idea, or concept, or characters that drive my writing. Being a full time writer allows me to really play in the worlds I create, to explore my ideas and see where they take me. I think that's the best thing about being a fiction writer.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Toby Neighbors I've never had writer's block in the sense that I couldn't think of what to write. I'm constantly having story ideas, but sometimes I get stuck in the middle of a story. Usually the answer for that problem is to detail my outline. Most of my books are written with a very bare bones outline, just the major events in the story. So when I feel stuck I step back and figure out how to move my characters to the next event.
