Oooo - that's hard! I've always kind of fancied being immortal like a vampire. And super strength - that would be cool.

Hi, Irma! Thanks for your question. I guess it depends on what themes you're into when you read? If you like dark urban fantasy then try either The Witching Pen series (which has witches, magic, fallen angels, demons and more in it - https://www.diannahardy.com/the-witch...), or you can try the Eye of the Storm series if you're into werewolves (start with book one, Releasing The Wolf - https://www.diannahardy.com/eye-of-th...). Both first books - The Witching Pen and Releasing The Wolf - are FREE to download on mosts platforms so those are a good place to start.
If you're more into lighter contemporary romance (with a bit of magic thrown in), then you can get the first book of my Once Times Thrice for free if you sign up to my newsletter: https://www.diannahardy.com/free-read... It can be read as a standalone, and then you can decide if you'd like to continue with the other books in the series.

Thank you! I don't entirely know yet. Because the Aftershock series will be set 15 years later, I could do with a year's break before starting it and get stuck into Blood Shadow series instead (Fathoms Deep being the first book). Then, I can begin Aftershock with a healthy disassociation from who the characters were before and begin afresh, since technically, they are "new" adult characters (that's how I'd like to treat them, anyway). So, I'm think Aftershock series will actually begin and take off in early 2020. I know that seems forever away, but it'll come round quick! Xx

Lol. All of them. The heart wants what it wants. It doesn't know how to choose :)

Aaaah ... I can't choose no matter how hard I try. They all mean a lot to me and all the books have their place in my life, and all the characters have their place in the stories. Sorry! xx

Interesting question. I hadn't planned to. In my mind I explored her quite well in Rise of the Wolf, but I suppose there's always room for more! At the moment though, I'd have to say no.

I like to write in silence, but will often listen to tracks that I think resonate with the book and characters throughout the course of writing the book - it helps to set the mood in my mind and sometimes inspires what might happen in the scene.

Haha! Thank you! I actually had a weekend break last week with my other half because his birthday is two weeks before mine, so it was a joint present to ourselves. Family lunch today, then chilling with my girl, and maybe a meal out on my birthday :)

Three books only now. The upcoming book, Autumn's Fall, will be the last, making the series a trilogy.

Hi, Clare! I hope there will be more books! I definitely want to write them, but when they get written depends on the popularity of this one vs. my others, as this book's quite different to my others in terms of "feel" and genre. The current plan is to write book two (tentative title: Summer's End) for publication in Autumn 2015, and it will predominantly be centred around Pippa and her story, with some of Candy's story unfolding too. If sales go well for this book, then Autumn 2015 is looking good. If another book or series takes off before then, it may get delayed a bit (but I really, really hope to stick to the plan!). xx
