Daniel B. Royer I write and edit in blocks, meaning I distance myself from the ritual of opening a massive book with the idea to draft and revise the whole thing. Instead I start out fresh and just write and revise 1000 words at a time. That alleviates the stress of writing daily (Writer's Block) for myself.
