For me, writer's block is not knowing where the story is going. I take time to sit down and force myself to plot. Then I can get back to writing.

Join a writers' group, network, educate yourself on the publishing industry, keep writing - you'll get better with every book you write. Invite critique of your work and listen. Take what resonates as true and let the rest roll off your back. Be kind to other writers, you're all in this boat together. Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.

I'm currently working on a fourth book in the Airship Adventure Chronicles. It's called The Realm of the Ice Queen.

Intriguing ideas compel me to write. I also run across stories that inspire me to explore to a broader view to enlighten others. For instance the disturbing past for those in insane asylums, the treatment of women in some countries, how those who are "different" are treated poorly by society. I like to weave those themes into my stories and hope they make a difference.

My most recent book is A Riddle for Love. It's a Sci-Fi rework of Grimm's A Riddling Tale. When I had to come up with a way to make this story work I decided to use androids. Three beautiful identical androids meant to be sold to a wealthy playboy. But their creator falls in love with one and must come up with a way to tell her apart from her sisters so he can rescue her and whisk her away from Mars. Take a look and see what you think.
