Alexandra Chauran The idea for my most recent release "How to Talk to Me After I'm Gone" came to me in a dream. I contacted my editor at Llewellyn the very next morning, and they contracted it right away.
Alexandra Chauran My seventh grade teacher, Sue Moroz, made me promise to keep writing as an adult. She died of cancer a couple of years later, and I'm keeping my promise.

Alexandra Chauran The best advice is to write and get it done. Even if the initial product is terrible, you can edit it afterwards. In fact, even if you wrote the "perfect" manuscript, a publisher will tell you to rearrange it anyway.
Alexandra Chauran Being able to see creations in the mind manifest into the reality of a physical book. It's also a real treat to work with good publishers, and to see the team effort that goes into book production.
Alexandra Chauran I don't really get writer's block. There just aren't enough hours in the day to write all I want to write.
