I firstly apologize for not having seen this question , and just seeing it now ! I know 6 months is a bit long but please accept my humble apologies.
Ribbons & Heels is a chick lit novel , so to speak , and writing from a male Egyptian Positioning will show you much of the Egyptian society and trying to reflect the impact this has on the women in Egypt , as any country comes with it's whole set of beliefs , social standards, such is Egypt.
So I try to depict this through the novel

I've actually never thought of that , but I've never had such intriguing events in my life that could be transformed or could be the base for a mystery plot!

I can't say there was more fun writing any of them than the other.. The sense of joy I get when I write is far more than to be tied to any one specific work.. Ruptured perhaps holds a special memento for me since it was my first book.. And my first attempt to show my work even if the results where not what one was hoping for..
