Dustin Stevens Actually, I've never experienced "writer's block." I freely admit there have been times when I went back to something and realized a subplot/chapter/etc wasn't working (or was flat out a bad idea) and needed to be revised or removed, but I've never experienced just sitting and staring at a blank page.

Usually, it's the complete opposite, in that I find myself with far too many ideas than time (or my hands..or sanity...or...or...) will ever allow for.
Dustin Stevens At the moment I have about a half-dozen projects underway. I am putting the finishing touches on The Accused, which is the sixth (?!) Reed & Billie novel. I am also completing the first draft of the third Danny the Daydreamer book, am halfway through my first ever co-author work, and am moving through a new series that will be released under my T.R. Kohler pen name which is designed to be in eight-part, much like episodes in a season of television.

(After watching the first two seasons of Stranger Things this winter, I wanted to try something a little bit longer in form, where I could really delve into the characters and their motivations :)
Dustin Stevens My most recent release (Danny the Daydreamer...Goes to the Grammy's) is far and away my biggest departure from my normal work. Most everybody knows me as a thriller/suspense/mystery writer, but this is the launch of a new pre-teen series about a little boy with an extremely active imagination. Able to mine adventures from most anything in his daily life, there's literally nothing he can't insert himself and his friends into.

The reason behind the creation of this character/storyline is I am a proud uncle to an 8-yr-old and a 2-yr-old. As they get older, I wanted to do something they could enjoy too, and even have taken to having story discussions and such with my niece. It has been great fun, both working with her, and getting to try something else entirely different for a while.
