Being able to create and imagine as I wish. My story can take place now, or hundreds of years from now. It may happen in the US, another country, or a combination of both. I have the freedom to create a world where there is always justice, or where there is never justice. It is entirely up to me.

I try to stay in my author mode and read works from others that I admire. Oftentimes I'll read or reread Steven James' book, Story Trumps Structure. I know that no matter what I do, the storyline will eventually come to me, even if it takes days.
