I love documentaries. It actually came from one I watched recently.

I'm an avid reader. I think the desire just naturally progressed from there. I wanted to create worlds and characters like the author's I admired,but in my own voice.

I am currently working on a secret project.... I can say this... It's set in England and it features a man on the wrong side of the law.;)

Read, read, read, and always practice your craft. I am currently reading books to help me improve as well as taking classes. I'd also say,don't be afraid to share your work ie submit to publishers or find a trusted beta reader to help you make your story shine. Also...Editors are life. There are so many things as the creator of a story we can't see.

Wow... This is a tough one. The fact that I get paid to do but what I love still makes me want to pinch myself. I still can't believe people want to read the stories I've been making up in my head for as long as I can remember.

That's usually a sign I need to take a break because I'm burned out or I need to stretch my wings and do something new. That's when I'll take a few days off , read my favorite books, watch movies, or take a trip somewhere. Car rides always get my brain flowing. :)
