After finishing the crossbreed series, specifically Afterlife has me thirsting for more! Have you considered or will you be writing a series on the Gemini illusive breed?

Dannika Dark I really can't say with certainty what the future holds in regards to any specific Breed. We'll see!

Dannika Dark I hope to! I have one drafted out from years ago but it would require a lot of work to essentially rewrite it.

Hi Danika. I loved, loved, loved Spellbound. I enjoyed getting a glimpse into Gem’s mind since it was in her voice. I did miss Raven and Christian...but then got so caught up in the story that I was totally satisfied to wait for the next in the series to go back to their tale. Gem and Niko deserved their moment. Keep them coming! Do you plan these to go on longer than the other series?

Dannika Dark Bettina, I'm so glad that you enjoyed that brief departure from Raven's journey. I've always felt like secondary characters are equally important, and that's why I enjoy shining a light on them in each book. But some stories require more attention, and in the case of Spellbound, it wouldn't have felt right mashing that book up with a Raven adventure. I wanted to dedicate time to these characters and their stories, so I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Reading Spellbound now! Really Happy Niko and Gem get a full length story instead of a novella. Normally I don't like when a series switches characters but I love every character that lives in Keystone. Would love to read other books from their points of view! Will there be stories about each of the other characters as well? This is hands down my favorite series!

Dannika Dark It didn't seem fair to make their story a "side story" in a novel focusing on Raven since there was a lot going on that primarily involved them. I can't speak for possible future projects, but I hope you enjoy!

Okay, so I finished Winter Moon and it led me to believe that there could be something between Melody and Lakota. Will you write any further books involving the Weston Pack? You have the next generation and you could inform all of the faithful readers what is going on with all of the characters we all love. I would like to see Ben find someone as well as to see what will happen to the twins, Melody, Hope, etc.

You are a "new to me" author and I am not a reader of PNR normally, but fecking hell woman! You have me jonsing for my next fix. I claimed Christian while reading the Mageri series and now getting his story, I can't get enough. I devoured both the Mageri series and the Seven series in two weeks time and am now burning through the Crossbreed series. Can you tell me how many books will be in the Crossbreed series?

Read all 3 series and looking forward to the next book in the Crossbreed series (hint, Christian has been my favorite since Mageri, and I haven't been disappointed yet!). I was just wondering if you had always planned for him to be part his own series, or was it decided after the fact? Looking forward to reading as much as you want to write in future!

Dannika Dark I wrote several series before I published, and to give you a little sequential order, I wrote what is now "Keystone" immediately after ending the Mageri series. But at the time, I didn't have it fleshed out enough to expand it into a series, and I wound up writing another series about Chitahs. So it's been a lot of fun to be able to further expand his story, because I've always found Christian to be a remarkable man.

So I absolutely love listening to the audiobooks. When I have a favorite audiobook I tend to purchase them to add to my book collection. I do that so I can recommend them to my family and friends and not many of them care for audiobooks. Will there ever be box sets for your book series instead of us having to purchase each separately???

Dannika Dark I'm so glad you're enjoying the books on audio! If you mean a boxed set in paperback, that's not an option at this time as it's not available to me through my distributor. Perhaps someday!

Specific to the Crossbreed Series: does Raven have any sexual/romantic interaction with anyone *except* Christian? I ask because I'm reading the first book, and, while I'm enjoying it, I'm worried that it'll be a series in which *he* sleeps with a lot of different women, while *she* is celibate and just waiting for him to get his act together. If this is the case, I really don't want to read the rest of the series.

Dannika Dark You'll have to keep reading, but I'll say that I'm not a writer who writes about men cheating and the women who love them, if that helps.

I just finished Sterling! I enjoyed it so much I plan to go out and buy the whole series today! (I prefer pages as apposed to screen) I was really blown away and I must ask, how do you push through and finish a whole series? What keeps you motivated?

Dannika Dark Thanks! I hope you enjoy all the other books in the series and world I've written in. As for powering through a series, it's a combination of love and needing to pay the bills. Nothing motivates a person to work like utility bills ;-)

Hi! I just finished devouring the Crossbreed series. And I must say you have ripped my heart out time and time again! I absolutely love Raven and Christian and everyone else in Keystone too.I just signed up for your news letter the other day bc I just discovered your novels. I guess my question is about how long does the process of releasing a squeal to a series typically take in your experience? Thank you!

Dannika Dark So glad you found my books and hope you have a chance to read them all. Releasing a sequel can range drastically. From start to finish, it will take me anywhere from 4-6 months. There is a lot involved with revisions, edits, proofing, cover design, etc. In the end, I hope that readers are satisfied with the experience the book gives them. :)
