I am a huge Anime fan and have been so most of my life. I absolutely love Rumiko Takahashi and the tales she tells. Characters like Ranma and Akane or Inuyasha and Kagome are perfect examples of my favorite fictional couples. I suppose the underlying tension, denial of attraction and strong women who don't need to be saved make for exciting stories, at least as far as I'm concerned.

If I force the situation I won't get what I really want. I could keep pushing forward, keep writing then ultimately go back and edit out the vast majority but for me it's just better to walk away. Let the words find me, not the other way around.
